Das Ferienhaus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen, der private Pool sichtgeschützt. Das Haus ist mit viel Geschmack und Charme im regional typischen Stil gebaut. Die Wohnräume sind großzügig und schön eingerichtet, die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für den Ferienaufenthalt benötigt. Alles ist sauber und gut gepflegt. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war bestens.

The holiday home is wonderfully quiet, the private pool is protected from view. The house is built with a lot of taste and charm in the typical regional style. The living rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your holiday stay. Everything is clean and well maintained. The communication with the landlady was great

We had a wonderful relaxing stay in Typhaine’s lovely cottage. The house had everything we needed and is set in beautiful and peaceful countryside. We particularly enjoyed the pool ; although this is unheated we did not find it cold (we were there at the end of June). The house is one of about half a dozen in a small hamlet which is quite remote, but for us this only added to the charm and restful nature of the place. The house is well located for exploring the perigord noir, and shops and restaurants are less than half an hour away by car. Of particular interest for us were the many local markets, especially the Sunday market in St Cyprien, which we would highly recommend. We also very much enjoyed visiting the medieval towns of Sarlat and Domme.

Absolutely loved this property. Everything of a very high quality and extremely well looked-after. Well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful living room with amazing floor and fireplace, which would be amazing in the colder months I'm sure. Everything was very clean and the towels and bed linen were good quality. Not much space outside other than around the pool and the patio area at front but that was not a problem for us at all.

Lovely, peaceful location suited us perfectly. There are no amenities close by, which may not suit everyone but it just meant that my early morning cycle for breakfast was substantial. St Genies (9km) is beautiful and the boulangerie sells the best bread and croissants I've ever tasted (Been coming to France for over 30 years). We ate a fantastic meal at La Table de Jean, about 10 minutes drive away and found all the usual touristy locations very easy to get to.

Very peaceful and tranquil stay. The villa is as described and having the pool is great, would be even better if it was heated though. Everything you need for cooking etc. is on site. Would recommend and would return to stay again. Lots of places to visit within easy reach from accommodation.

We had a wonderful time and Petite is a special place. we enjoyed the pool which was refreshing though unheated. our only disappointment was that we were not allowed to use the fireplace. We were told it was "condemned", but that was a translation of the French so may have referred to not being certified for use. we were the first guests for 2024 so hopefully this is something that will be available for other guests.

We went on many beautiful walks & enjoyed the local hospitality. Beautiful weather throughout and having a swimming pool all to ourselves was fantastic!

Cosy cottage with comfy beds, good quality linen and towels and a good amount of space for 2 adults and 2 teens. Pool good size and super clean, if a little cold!! Kitchen well equipped. Montignac is a lovely town to visit for shopping and restaurants, only 20 mins drive.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The Gite was beautiful inside and out. The description was 100% accurate and it had everything we could have needed. The pool was a wonderful addition for our children, even though the weather was variable when we were there, they still went in every day!

The location is perfect for visiting the Dordogne. We recommend canoeing down the Dordogne and Lascaux is worth the visit, it was fascinating. We had a wonderful week and recommend it to all! Xx

Magnifiek! Wij hadden een heerlijk verblijf in deze rustige accomodatie. Goed uitgerust, goed onderhouden, degelijke bedden en een heerlijk zwembad. We vertrekken hier helemaal zen en uitgerust. Het huis is een perfecte match voor ons.

We zouden zonder twijfelen terugkeren.

(Magnificent! We had a wonderful stay at this quiet accommodation. Well equipped, well-kept, decent beds and a lovely pool. We leave here completely zen and rested. The house is a perfect match for us. We would return without hesitation)

Nous y avons séjourné début juillet. Nous y avons passé de très belles vacances.

Les photos correspondent à ce que nous avons retrouvé sur place. Le logement était propre et bien équipé. La piscine est grande et propre.Typhaine était toujours très réactive. Nous avons eu une coupure d'électricité. Elle nous a rapidement aiguillée et le problème était vite résolu.

Seul bémol :

- Il y avait des travaux dans la maison voisine (camion, pelleteuse et marteau piqueur pendant 4 jours!)

- Des moustiquaires aux fenêtres des chambres seraient bienvenues

Globalement : une très belle maison en pierre, bien équipée dans laquelle nous avons passé une belle semaine de vacances

(We stayed there in early July. We had a great holiday.

The photos match what we found on the spot. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped. The pool is large and clean.Typhaine was always very responsive. We had a power outage. She quickly referred us and the problem was quickly solved.

Only downside:

- there was work in the nearby house (truck, dustpan and jackhammer for 4 days!)

- mosquito nets at the windows of the rooms would be welcome

Overall: a beautiful stone house, well equipped in which we had a nice week's vacation)

Overall, we had a great stay here. The furniture and fittings etc are all of good quality - and comfortable!

When we requested extra bed linen and towels, they were immediately provided by Typhaine.

Everything worked as it should, eg always plenty of hot water in the showers etc. There were fans to keep cool and heaters if you needed them!

One small point, the TV had no English Channels - and the wifi was very slow. Although I understand they are upgrading to fibre within weeks.

Another thing we noticed was that there were no 'depth markers' around the swimming pool. There was no indication to show which was the deep/shallow end or indeed how deep the pool is.

Overall, we had a great time here. We would definitely recommend this beautiful place.

Logement agréablement situé par rapport aux différents sites et activités touristiques de la région. La maison est de surcroît très bien équipée et très cosy. Nous avons voyagé avec nos garçons de 3 et 5 ans. La piscine non chauffée était parfaitement sécurisée pour eux. Nous recommandons complètement.

(Accommodation pleasantly located in relation to the different sites and tourist activities in the area. The house is also very well equipped and very cozy. We travelled with our 3 and 5 year old boys. The unheated pool was perfectly safe for them. We recommend it completely)

Le gîte est situé au calme et est bien équipé, nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la belle piscine (le temps n'était pas avec nous). Un peu loin des commerces, mais idéalement situé pour les visites.

What a beautiful house! We had a wonderful week, most of it spent in the lovely pool, which was great for kids, and exploring all surrounding area. The house is pretty remote - it's a good 15/20 minute drive to shops, cafes etc which is worth being aware of - but with that comes a lot of peace and quiet! Thank you Typhaine!

Typhaine’s house was perfect for our holiday in the Dordogne. It was clean, well equipped and a beautifully relaxing space. The location of the house enabled us to visit many local attractions and was a perfect place to return to in the afternoon and cool down in the pool. The barn convention is well thought out and remained cool through the hot summers sun. I’d thoroughly recommend for families, as the pool is close to the house and can be secured. The grand BBQ is an added bonus, and we used it every night. Thank you again Typhaine, we’ll be back!

Beautifully maintained cottage in a hamlet. The house is really clean and well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen, bathrooms & living areas. The bedrooms are spacious and cool even in hot weather. The pool is a good size and was cleaned before we arrived. Supermarkets around 15 minute drive away in Terrasson (or Montignac but much busier). Friendly neighbours. There are some lovely walls on the doorstep. Communication was great from Typhaine! We had a great week and hope to return!

We really enjoyed our stay in Chassagne. The house is very comfortable (comfortable beds are very important away from home ) is very clean and well equipped with everything you might need . The pool is really lovely and the house is in a very peaceful setting. It is very close to lots of beautiful towns and villages, Montignac , St.Léon Sur Vézère, Sarlat was my favourite. With the added bonus of seeing the occasional deer, we’re looking forward to going back again next year.

Quel bonheur de se retrouver ainsi en pleine nature entouré de pierre et de vert au calme. Le Périgord regorge de trésors culinaires et culturels et cette belle maison est parfaitement située. Il ne manque rien et la maison est très agréable (piscine, Tv, internet). Typhaine nous a accueilli chaleureusement et à su être réactive. Nous sommes parti à regret et comptons bien revenir des que possible

(What a joy to find yourself in nature surrounded by stone and quiet green. The Périgord is full of culinary and cultural treasures and this beautiful house is perfectly located. There is nothing missing and the house is very nice (swimming pool, TV, internet). Typhaine welcomed us warmly and knew how to be responsive. We are sad to have left and look forward to returning as soon as possible!)
